Reliance Retail has introduced India’s first Armani/Caffè, the luxury café by the iconic Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani, at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). This is the fifth Armani/Caffè worldwide, combining high-end dining with the sophistication of the Armani brand.
Sumeet Yadav, head of Hamleys and Pret India at RBL, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “Another dream takes shape as we open our doors to India’s first Armani/Caffè.” The café, located beside the Giorgio Armani boutique, offers a chic Italian ambiance with muted blues and palm motifs, creating a 52-seat venue that promises a premium dining experience.
The menu features Giorgio Armani’s favorite dishes, blending Italian authenticity with luxury, including 52 of Italy’s finest wines. Signature dishes, such as the classic spinach and ricotta tortelli piacentini, reflect the designer’s personal tastes. With an average cost of Rs 12,000 for two, the café offers a truly exclusive dining experience.
This launch marks Armani/Caffè’s entry into India after ongoing discussions since 2020. Jio World Plaza is home to other global dining brands like Gatsby’s Bar, Si Nonna’s, and Ladurée, further enhancing its international allure.
